Meet Violet
The newest member of our household!
We brought her home today from Feline Lifeline.
She's about 8 to 10 weeks old, a short haired tabby with a white stomach and paws. She did very well settling in and is already playing with Owen, who is doing a great job being gentle with her. She seems to be a very friendly and playful kitten. We're very happy to have her!

oh, how cute!! My kiddos have really enjoyed watching our kitten grow over the past several months. Who chose the name Violet? It's such a cute name. Have fun with her!
The name was Owen's idea. Actually, he first suggested Rose, but that is the name of a cat belonging to a friend of his who looks just like Violet, so to avoid copycat syndrome I suggested "If you like Rose, how about another flower name, like ..." and named a few and he picked Violet.
She is a lot of fun, although she decided to attack everyone's ankles at 1:30 am so that was a little tiring.
