San Diego

We returned from a 3 day whirlwind trip to San Diego and Carlsbad this evening.

The first stop was Carlsbad to go to Legoland. It is quite amazing what can be made out of Lego.
































































































































































































































Next stop was the beach in Carlsbad.
































































From there we went on to La Jolla to the UCSD aquarium (Birch Scripps).























































Then we headed down to spend the night in this Spanish-style hotel in Old Town San Diego.













We spent Saturday evening on the beach in Coronado watching the sunset. The sand was powdery fine there, quite lovely.













































Sunday morning we stopped for breakfast in Old Town and checked out the old fashioned items and buildings there a bit...


























And then on to the San Diego Zoo, a very cool place.



























































It was a great trip!
