Trip to the snow

We went to the Sierras today for a day trip. We intended to go to Yuba Gap, the closest snow park, but they were full by the time we arrived, so we went another 5 minutes up the road to Cisco Grove, where you can sled and play in the snow.






The kids had a great time!








Owen and Douglas did a lot of sledding, snowball fighting, and general playing around in the snow.







This sled, which we bought last year at Big 5, turned out to be the best one. It is padded like a boogie board so it makes going over those bumps less painful.

It was pretty up there, but there wasn't too much snow. What was there was also fairly icy because it hasn't snowed in the mountains for a few weeks.
