Davis ... almost famous?

The Jane Austen Book Club, which I read last year and which is set here in Davis, is being made into a movie. I was wondering whether it would be filmed here, but online sites refer to it as being in "post-production" so I guess not. Apparently Lynn Redgrave, Jimmy Smits, Maria Bello and others will star. According to comingsoon.net (from Oct 30), "The movie is scheduled to begin shooting Wednesday in Los Angeles."
