So long, been good to know ya
Dan and I were enjoying singing "Na na na na, hey hey, goodbye" to Lieberman last night. Of course, now he is running anyway as an independent. I suppose he has a good chance of winning, too. Pretty ironic for someone who's been in the Senate 18 years to complain about the "old" partisan politics as the victor.

Doesn't it seem like there's an element of spite going on for him to run as an independent? If he can't be the Democratic candidate, he'll split the Democratic vote so the other guy loses?
But I bet he still cannot believe he lost. Out of the second sweetest gig on the face of the earth.
Definitely spite. It's all about Joe.
